Le groupe de recherche ‘World Genealogy’ (Université de Hambourg, Université de Bonn) annonce un appel à communications pour sa prochaine conférence autour du thème :
Knowledge, Kinship and Ancestors in Global and Historical Perspective
qui se tiendra du 1er au 3 juin 2026 à Hambourg.
The conference aims to pave the way towards a comparative and connected study of genealogical cultures from around the world. We welcome submissions, which seek to understand genealogical cultures across the globe from ancient times to the present day, ideally incorporating comparative perspectives. In addition to genealogies of “biological descent », we encourage also researchers focusing on “spiritual genealogies », such as Buddhist master-disciple genealogies, and genealogies transmitting other forms of knowledge (tea masters, swordsmiths, performing arts etc.).
La date limite pour envoyer sa proposition de communication est le 15 juillet 2025. Les propositions de communication (pas plus de 400 mots et un CV) sont à envoyer à l’adresse suivante : genealogie.gw@uni-hamburg.de
