Résumé de l’ouvrage
Released in summer 2023, this new book is an important contribution to the canon celebrating and studying traditional Tibetan Culture. The subject of the monograph is Wall Painting, however the book is not attempting to simply reproduce Tibetan murals but is an examination of how the murals were and still are made in Tibet. It contains the very first scientific analysis of methodologies including materials, detailed descriptions of the production and application of the traditionally produced paint, as well as many illustrations and descriptions of the best preserved examples of existing murals in Tibet.
